Terms of service
EFFECTIVE 12 MAY 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Paragon iOS application and related services operated by Parlay (goparlay.io). By downloading, installing, or using Paragon you agree to these terms.

Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use Paragon. You may only record conversations you are legally entitled to record under the laws of your jurisdiction. You are responsible for obtaining any consents required by applicable wiretapping, recording, or privacy laws in the places where you and the other call participants are located. Paragon is a coaching tool — not a legal substitute for proper consent.

Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure. You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, infringes another person's rights, or is used to upload illegal content.

Subscriptions & billing
Paragon offers a free trial of five hours of analysis. Paid subscriptions — Pro at $19.99/month or $200/year, and Elite at $49.99/month or $500/year — are billed through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple. Prices may change with notice; any change applies only after your current period.

Usage limits
Each tier caps the hours of audio you can analyze per period (Free: 5 hours total; Pro: 25 hours per month; Elite: unlimited subject to reasonable use). Unused hours do not roll over. We may rate-limit or temporarily block analysis if usage appears automated, fraudulent, or otherwise abusive.

Your content
You own the audio you submit to Paragon. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that audio solely to deliver the service to you — transcription, scoring, playbook generation, and storing the result for your account. We do not use your audio to train external models or share it with third parties beyond the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) upload content you do not have rights to record or share; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent the service; (c) use the service to harass, defame, or harm any person; (d) misrepresent another person's identity on the leaderboard or in your profile; or (e) use the service in violation of any applicable law.

Termination
You can stop using Paragon at any time. To remove all your data, delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if continued service would expose us or other users to harm. If your account is terminated by us for a breach, no refunds are due for the unused portion of any subscription.

Disclaimer
Paragon's scoring and coaching output is generated by AI models and is provided as is for informational and coaching purposes only. It is not professional advice and should not be relied on as a guarantee of sales outcomes, business decisions, or compliance with any law. You are responsible for how you apply the feedback Paragon gives you.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paragon and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app and update the effective date above. Continued use of Paragon after the change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
