Privacy policy
EFFECTIVE 12 MAY 2026
This Privacy Policy describes what data the Paragon iOS application collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information. Paragon is operated by Parlay (goparlay.io).

What we collect
Account information: email address, a chosen username, and onboarding answers about your industry, sales motion, and ideal customer. Recordings: audio you capture or upload, along with optional metadata (prospect name, recording title). Usage data: which features you use, hours of audio analyzed, subscription tier, and basic device information (iOS version, device model, app version). We do not collect contacts, photos, location, or any data outside the app.

How we use it
We use your recordings only to transcribe and score your own sales performance and to generate a personalized coaching playbook for you. Account and usage data authenticate you, enforce subscription limits, surface a global leaderboard (using your chosen username, never your email), and improve product quality. We do not sell your data. We do not use your recordings to train third-party generative AI models.

Service providers
We rely on a small set of vendors that process data on our behalf under contract: Parlay (transcription and scoring), Supabase (authentication, encrypted storage, our backend), Apple (App Store payments and push notifications), and Google (Gemini API for playbook generation and conversation-boundary detection). Each provider is bound by data-processing terms that prohibit independent use of your data.

Retention
We retain your recordings, transcripts, and scores for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your profile, recordings, transcripts, scored analyses, and playbook from our systems within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated metrics that cannot be tied back to you may be retained for product analytics.

Your rights
You can access and delete your data at any time. Account deletion is available in the Paragon app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@goparlay.io from your account address. Depending on where you live (including the EU, UK, and California), you may have additional rights to data access, correction, portability, and to object to processing.

Security
Audio is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on encrypted infrastructure. Authentication uses email one-time codes; we never store your password. Backend access is restricted to the Parlay team on a need-to-know basis.

Children
Paragon is not directed to children under 17 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used Paragon, contact us and we will delete the account.

Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how we treat your data, we will notify you in the app and update the effective date above. Continued use of Paragon after the change constitutes acceptance.
